What's in the name?

Cool! So it's seems I finally understand how to follow instructions on the blogger website. Finding the time to do that though, is a whole different science.

So what's in this title, Inspire The Artist? Whatchou shmokin' mahn?

As a creative being, I find it difficult sometimes to create something. Ironic right. It's the unmerciful truth of being indecisively and impulsively 'creative'. When one goes about seeking to create something, one must have been inspired by something. It is literally impossible to walk through life without being influenced by the senses. Even our conversations are influenced by a past, present, or future force. Think about the last conversation you had. Maybe you said something like, "Oh yea, one time..." or "If I can recall correctly..." or "Do you think the blah blah....".

We are perfectly unable to remain completely untouched from our surroundings. We are impeccably inspired every day.

That's why I adopted the title, Inspire The Artist.

It's more of a dare. A command.

'But I'm not artisty or creative; I can only draw a stick figure. I'm super self-conscientious of myself and my artist abilities," you might be thinking. No worries, but you can inspire others to do the deed that so terrifies you.

Encourage the artists around you. Walk into the supermarket and be yourself. You never ever know what kind of people you pass and what kinds of things you can inspire them to create. Maybe they are a writer and you could be their next character, protagonist or antagonists depending on if your glass is half empty or full. Maybe they are a magazine photographer and need rando person to fill a page. Maybe they are a sculpturor and unassumingly needed you to reach down and tie your shoe so they could finally understand the contours of the wrist as you strain to remember if the bunny jumps through the hole or goes around the tree.

Regardless or what type of creator you just passed in the right hand lane of the interstate, there are so many ways you can encourage and inspire the artists around you. Think twice before you smirk at the painting of the tomato or the exquisite painting of your mother's mother's look-a-like, because the painter might be right there. Think twice before you insult all starving artists. Think twice and try instead to inspire the artist.
