Moments

It was one of those moments where you have been staring for so long, you thought an hour went by.

It was a moment in life that every detail was a stabbing memory and will never heal.

It was one of those unforgettable moments.

Most people can understand what I mean, the specific moments in time where your senses are on edge and you cannot escape reality. Where your emotions take over but do not quite explode out of control. Where you become aware that the next action you take could determine the mood of the situation. Where you become acutely sensitive to the fact that people can taste your emotion without even talking to you.

Maybe you received a stirring email. Maybe someone just broke your heart. Maybe you have stumbled upon the most gorgeous picture. Maybe there was a death in the family. Maybe you become so tangled in the path of your thoughts, your conscious is so intrigued by your subconscious, you do not want to leave it's presence.

Whatever the situation, I encouraged you to soak up these moments. I encourage you to relish in the emotional depth of these moments and cherish them. If they are negative moments or times of indescribable elation, remember them. I have discovered that in these times, one can discover the truest of truth within oneself.
